Life - Love - Its birth - Its end…

God created love for good, it has a meaning and He also created bereavement and death, again for good.

Every one of us live life or rather move on in life for someone whom we luv (unlike very few who live only for themselves) Husbands for their wives, mothers for their children, children for their parents, a few for the luv they have on the Almighty. It’s like a driving force and life moves on because of this very strong this force.

But what happens when the adverse thing happens, what happens when u lose your loved ones. If u look back, every one of us would have lost someone whom we loved in our lives, few would have lost their spouses, a few their boyfriend or girlfriend, their parents.... when I say ‘lost’ it not only means death, it also includes separation, divorces, break ups, etc,. Every one of us knows it’s hard, getting over a relationship with someone whom who loved is the most awful thing…
But what next – Life has to move on –there is no dead end.

Paulo Coelo in one of his books has very beautifully explained the concept of love. He wouldn’t have mentioned loved one but would have referred them as 'Soul mates'.

He says, God created Adam first. His soul split and then came Eve. When a soul comes to an end it usually splits up in to two, and the two further in to four and that’s how the entire universe is created and dat’s y we find so many souls in this universe. When we meet our soul mate we would feel a sense of knowingness, there’s something between you two and it will not be long before you sense it, cos it you – your own self in another body. The joy of being with your soul mate is simply inexplicable. But you have to find your rite soul mate and that itself is a science and you won’t believe, there are books on it. When I say soul mate it not necessarily has to be a person from the opposite sex, it can even be a person from the same sex …

There’s another situation I want to take up, it’s the ‘more than one situation’. Few say they are fond of another person when they already would have found one. This is no bizarre a thing. They are your soul mate again, just another one of your soul mate… as I said earlier a soul splits in to two and this person is just another one of your soul mate, and then.... a completely different confusion starts (m sure you know wot m talking about)… well this is life and life has to move on…. You’ll have to deal with it any way…

Okay, where were we… Love and its end… Nothing is permanent in life…each and every single thing has its end, but upon death is life…. creation and destruction, birth and death are mutual... this whole thing comes as a package, so accept the package and live life as it comes… As it is, we don’t have any another choice… :)

Worry…..

Is there anyone who does not have any worries…???
At least ONE…???
:) … All of us know the answer…!!!
[If ‘NO’ I would want to meet you personally, m serious...!]
Let me just take you thru a few examples…

No 1. Tribulations of a bachelor (Age: 20 to 25):
He/she thinks they are the most cursed creatures on the planet earth. No one to confide to, feels everyone around is happy but them. Feels they could be the happiest person if they had the “The Person” in their lives. They work hard, really hard, but at the end of the day they are not happy, they ask themselves “Y am I doing this, Y am I working this hard, for whom I am working this hard” they are not satisfied. They all go to bed worried every single day with the hope of finding that “Somebody” tomorrow.

No.2. Worries of the exciting clan: “The newly married ones” (Age: 25 to 35):
They start out all good initially and gradually enter in to the world everyone is in… (lol… The gloomy Gus I am) worries start with the basic essentiality…. “Freedom”… obviously they are been refrained to do wot they used to do or rather, still like to do… Alas… they can’t go by only their wishes or fondness… U knw y, cos there’s someone waiting for them back home… and slowly they start doing things which they want to do and end up in that puddle of remorse or the slight agony… this basically leads to lack of passion in the relationship, No passion – No commitment – No Care – No affection – No love – Anger – Fights – anxiety- start worrying [read each word twice] … Den Comes…. Oh man, I should have been a bachelor (Go to No.1..:))

No.3 The committed ones but not married (Age 20 to 26 or even 30 in a few cases):
Okay these people think they are on top of the world and there are no boundaries in their luv and no one can intrude in to their relationship, blab blab and yeah, it keeps going on for some time and then comes the good part. It usually starts with this thing called ‘possessiveness’ … One does not get enough freedom to do what they want and keeps blaming the other one for it. They spend their time with each other but are still not happy and keep mourning about what they would have done otherwise. Then the real thing comes up, to satisfy ones “expectations” which gets harder to keep up going further. This whole thing comes as a combo, well there are loads one can add to it and in fact this can be taken up as one separate blog.

No.4. The Biggies:
They might or might not have hoarded enough wealth but that’s not what is bothering them. They need love, care and affection from their children. While these people are big time busy focusing their career, they are in a pool of trouble themselves (either No.1 or No.2 or No.3) No comments, further.

No.5. The married ones who have sacrificed their wishes and got on to life, just that they don’t many options on this (Age: 35 to 40):
Life is really tough for this group, seriously… They have their to concentrate on their future, their career and they basically start sacrificing things for others, their spouse, in laws, kids, parents, boss, assets, health, oooo there are tons and tons of it..
These are just a few, well there are many areas you can touch upon…..

But hold on… Is there any problem in this world that does not have a solution…??

If so Science would never have existed and so would Math…. Hmmm so wot do we do… keep moving on in life with all the pains and worries, or take up a problem and handle it right away, or may be just forget it and move on…. Take a call guys and it’s up to you… Life is full of surprises you never know what is waiting for you round the corner… Some time you find something good and sometimes things that you never wanted to happen. Life is a blend of bliss and grief if any one of it is a little more, life would get mundane and there will be no zing…. So let’s accept life as it comes and move on…!!!

SOLITUDE...!!!

Its 2 am in the night and m writing this blog, I don’t know why…!!!!!!!

In the vain effort to beat the insomnia that has been troubling me from quite some days, I have slowly started to do a lot of things in life. Only when the tinge of Solitude knocks a person, he can apprehend what he desires and what he is capable of doing, in life.

This solitude stuck me too… The lonely nights that I spend these days doing crazy things... I sing, I dance, I talk to myself, gaze at the wall, stare at myself in the mirror, watch a movie, listen to music, open the refrigerator for the nth time, check my phone now and then to see “No SMS“ nor “CALLS” and what not. I’m lost --- Wer am I???? I question myself ….

The best part of the whole obsession is, the realization of a few things like, what I want in life, what I like to do, what are my hobbies r n blab blab blab.. In fact I’ve started to do a lot of new things that I’ve done a very little of it before, like I’ve taken up reading more seriously than programming, listen to music except when I’m sleeping, watch more movies and above all blog more seriously and a lot more of such stuff I must say.

Having done all this and experiencing this great feeling, I strappingly say, solitude is a very important thing in every human being’s life, for a lot of reasons. No.1 one gets to explore their inner mortal and their true self. One can read one’s own mind more accurately when he is alone. There is clarity in whatever he does cos the chance of one getting prejudiced by others is mere zilch.

I have learnt a lot from this seclusion, m sure guys there must be something hid in u as well, its rite there some wer, ponder a little bit of urself not deliberately though… be sure to find something new… N above all enjoy ur solitude, at this very moment I feel it’s one of god’s greatest gift to us…!!!

Google.. The Leader...!!!

Being a Google addict myself, I think this one necessarily needed to be discussed in my blog

Google with its products like Blogger, Docs, Gmail, iGoogle, orkut, Picassa Web Albums, Reader, gTalk and the recent Adsense, Adwords, Alerts, groups, etc.,.rule the web. Every internet user in the world would use any one of the above products at least once in a single day. For millions of Netizens, the G Company has already become synonymous with God.

Google is the most widely used search engine on the web with a 53.6% market share, ahead of Yahoo! (19.9%) and Live Search (12.9%). Google indexes billions of Web pages, so that users can search for the information they desire, through the use of keywords and operators, at any given time it will return a maximum of 1,000 results for any specific search query.

Google has raced to become the biggest brand of the century. And there is nothing virtual about it as the company stream rolls ahead not withstanding even the US economic recession. According to a recent survey, the Internet company has managed to upstage established brands and behemoths such as Coca Cola and Microsoft to claim the No. 1 spot as global top brand. In fact, the search leader recently also emerged as the top brand in UK, moving two places up from last year. Google beat Microsoft and Mercedes Benz to gain the top spot. It had also topped a 'Super brands' poll earlier this year. Clearly, there seems to be no stopping the Google juggernaut as it chugs ahead.
Coming to the work culture Google follows a relaxed corporate culture, of which its playful variations on its own corporate logo are an indicator. In 2007 and 2008, Fortune Magazine placed Google at the top of its list of the hundred best places to work. Google's corporate philosophy embodies such casual principles as "you can make money without doing evil," "you can be serious without a suit," and "work should be challenging and the challenge should be fun.
Google's headquarters in Mountain View, California, is referred to as "the Googleplex" has a lobby which is decorated with piano, lava lamps, old server clusters, and a projection of search queries on the wall. Recreational amenities are scattered throughout the campus and include a workout room with weights and rowing machines, locker rooms, washers and dryers, a massage room, assorted video games, Football, a baby grand piano, a pool table, and ping pong. In addition to the recreation room, there are snack rooms stocked with varieties of food and drinks served.
As an interesting motivation technique (usually called Innovation Time Off), all Google engineers are encouraged to spend 20% of their work time (one day per week) on projects that interest them. Some of Google's newer services, such as Gmail, Google News, Orkut, and AdSense originated from these independent endeavors. In a talk at Stanford University, Marissa Mayer, Google's Vice President of Search Products and User Experience, stated that her analysis showed that half of the new product launches originated from the 20% time.

Is it the aberrant work culture that Google follows made it one of the best or what is it behind its success…???
Ever wondered what the world around you will look like if Google owned it? Common start visualizing a 'Google World', a world where Google runs burger chains, automobile companies, owns resorts, has a fleet of Airbus, and whatever else that one can think of....
M sure google will achieve atleast 50% of it in the next few decades

Consanguineous marriages

Marriage..but among who...!!!
Lets start with the Muslims,Islam permits marriage between first cousins. The Qur'anic verses enumerate women to whom a Muslim cannot be married; you will find that this list does not include cousins. Therefore, such a marriage is permissible within Muslims.
In Iraq, as in much of the region, nearly half of all married couples are first or second cousins to each other. A 1986 study of 4,500 married hospital patients and staff in Baghdad found that 46% were wed to a first or second cousin, while a smaller 1989 survey found 53% were "consanguineously" married. The most prominent example of an Iraqi first cousin marriage is that of Saddam Hussein and his first wife Sajida.

But the contradictory part of it is,
For eg, according to Article 10: Circumstances where marriage is forbidden of the Vietnam Law
Marriage is forbidden in the following circumstances:
Between people currently married;
Between people who have lost their civil capacity to act;
Between people of the same direct blood line;
between relatives within three generations;
There exists a very clear distinction among different groups of people in the society but about a one common thing.
Okay, now why do people go for consanguineous marriages? Here are a few reasons:
The most probable one: When cousins themselves are interested in getting married with each other, parents are left with very little choice.
Second one being, people feel that they can retain their property within their families
Can avoid large amounts of dowry
The boy or the girl is well known to the family and there is no feeling of an outsider coming in to one’s family and many more.

Now what are the effects of such marriages?????
The child born to the first level or the second level cousins carry over a lot of genetic diseases and are prone to be born mentally retarded.
Researchers in Europe and America have realized what a gold mine the Pakistani population is - for identifying the basis of many genetic diseases. Thalessemia, a disorder of hemoglobin production and anemia is the most common one (approximately 1 in 25 individuals in Pakistan carries this gene), but just a cursory search of recent literature identified a laundry list of exotic sounding diseases.
What I have mentioned about the effect of such marriages on children is quite true. Hereditary points of weakness in a family tend to be more pronounced in the children of any marriage between cousins of that family and that this is not totally a new discovery. It is needless to say that when marriage of cousins is repeated over several generations, they are bound to have more effects on children.
American society is so biased against inbreeding that many Americans have a hard time even conceiving of marrying a cousin. Yet, arranged matches between first cousins (especially between the children of brothers) are considered the ideal throughout much of a broad expanse from North Africa through West Asia and into Pakistan and India.
Why is there such bias prevailing in this society? One says marrying one’s cousin brother or cousin sister is legal while the other says marrying a cousin (ie. brother’s sister’s children or vice versa) is lawful and one completely disagrees with the very thought of marriages within one’s family.
Now why there is no enough awareness about consanguineous marriages? Is it the government or the Law makers who are to be blamed, for not bringing things to light or is it people’s custom that has let them carry over such imprudent traditions.
It’s not about a girl and a guy marrying, it’s about what happens next. The child which is born carry’s a lot of genetic disorder and its life is in a toss…Survey indicates that at least one in every fifty newborns has a major congenital anomaly, one in hundred has a monogenic disorder and one in two hundred has a chromosomal abnormality and number seems to be rising, and there is no end to this universal confusion the society or the people in the society have…!!!

Unfairness:

Chetan Bhagat said “The three things - reasonable goals, balance and not taking things too seriously will nurture the spark in life.
However, there are four storms in life that will threaten to completely put out the flame.
These are disappointment, frustration, unfairness and loneliness of purpose.”

Yeah People, this world, is very mean and at times more cruel than anyone would expect it to be.

Unfairness - this is hardest thing to deal with, but unfortunately that is how our country works.
People with rich dads, beautiful faces and pedigree make it to the high of the higher levels -- unlike the one who looks just ‘ok’ and had born in a middle class family but has got scholarly brains.
Why are such people lagging behind… it’s a universal truth and everyone knows the answer…!!!
But it’s not their fault to be born in a normal family and that they cannot afford things. It’s just fate which landed them up in such a milieu.
So, will such people always be behind the covers? Thinking about fate and crap…?
NOOOOOOPEEE!!!!!
“Guys, fate does not determine your destiny……!” of course I do accept, fate and luck has its hand, but in a smaller part.
I really don’t understand why people say, I leave it to ‘fate’, when they face a high point in their life.
Wake up guys… It’s our problem and we’ve got to solve it and not let the “fate or luck” take its part.
Think, come out with more possible solutions, and narrow down your options. M sure you’ll find a better way outta trouble.
And the best way to handle a mistake or a blunder you’ve done is to take charge of it and it makes your life simpler.
Because you know that you’re responsible for something and you’ll find a better way out of it.

So stop blaming your dads or ancestors for what you are today, cos you are solely responsible for what you are...
If you aren’t that beautiful, accept it and boast about your inner qualities,
Or just be happy that you are just like this, and not imitating anyone else….
And love yourself and your inner being and give a damn about what the world thinks about you.
Cos at the end of the day it’s only U, whose goanna be wit U and not the world.
Wake up, See what are your “pluses” and work towards it, don’t do a job because its fetching you enough bucks, you may be better in something else and that might lead you accomplish glory. It’s just that you have to find out what you want in life and walk towards it.
It might be hard when you begin, may be you’ll face a lot of criticisms and what not, but just tell yourself that you are doing what you like and you are happy about it.
“The sure path to failure is to give up! It is often through failure that future successes come – So Keep Trying and YOUR ASSURED SUCCESS“

Ka Ching

We live in a greedy little world
that teaches every little boy and girl
To earn as much as they can possibly
then turn around andSpend it foolishly
We've created us a credit card mess
We spend the money we don't possess
Our religion is to go and blow it all
So it's shoppin' every Sunday at the mall
All we ever want is more
A lot more than we had before
So take me to the nearest store
Can you hear it ring
It makes you wanna sing
It's such a beautiful thing--Ka-ching!
Lots of diamond rings
The happiness it brings
You'll live like a king
With lots of money and things
When you're broke go and get a loan
Take out another mortgage on your home
Consolidate so you can afford
To go and spend some more whenyou get bored
All we ever want is more
A lot more than we had before
So take me to the nearest store
Let's swingDig deeper in your pocket
Oh, yeah, haCome on I know you've got it
Dig deeper in your wallet
OhAll we ever want is more
A lot more than we had before
So take me to the nearest store
Can you hear it ring
It makes you wanna sing
You'll live like a king
With lots of money and things
...Ka-ching...

Multi National Company S/w Engineer

For the huge sums one would find in their pay check, every one of us would want to jump in to this kind of a profession.

But what exactly is happening here?

People work 12hrs – 13hrs or more every single day with absolutely no idea what’s happening in the world.People slog for so called deadlines every single day, but why, to keep the boss happy, to keep the Client happy or for the money they are been paid?
No one knows the answer, the only thing they know is “Iv got to deliver something by EOD”

This community knows nook and corner of what’s happening with their application but do they know who won the recent German Grand Prix or what Rushdie’s latest novel is.
Their weekend breaks goes off either by shelling out their hard earned money in a mall or a movie theatre or by sitting in front of the Idiot Box.
What’s the future of these people, work till say they are 40 or 50 yrs old and by then they would have hundreds and hundreds of health problems and end up paying their physician a regular visit and expend their savings.
Let’s forget the few who manage their time and try to balance their personal and professional life. Well “Exceptions are not examples”.

We shall consider the common or the ruling part of the community, people
1. Who do not have time for their wives/husbands or children.
2. Who do not know what a morning walk is or what a healthy and a fit body is.
3. Who thinks spending money is affection or care or love.
4. Who has never volunteered to join a charity organization but has volunteered number of times to fix a bug.
5. Who knows to communicate so effectively with their clients and bosses but cannot do that with their very own parents or spouse or children.
“THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SITUATION”
What are people doing here, work for bucks? Work for their satisfaction? Work for the organization? Or for the clients?
If you take a closer look, people are lumbering for some body’s else’s dream to come true. Well, at the same time it is apparently difficult to expect every citizen of the country to be an entrepreneur. But people here can do a lot more than what they are actually doing.
PEOPLE WAKE UP..! U R SLOGGING UR *** OFF TO CHASE SOMEBODY’S ELSE’S DREAM AND NOT UR’S…!!!!!!
Realize what’s happening with you, prioritize your priorities. Let your family be on top of the list and not your work. You’re born in this world to achieve something for your self and not be under some body else through out your life.
Dr.Abul Kalam said, “Dream, dream and dream and convert these into thoughts and later into actions."
So Wake up, Dream, Think and start converting them in to Actions…!!!

Life is not so easy man :

A smooth and steady pace in life with no mishap and no chaos happening around, it was like, I was in the Himsagar express (The longest train in India) which keeps going on and on and on for days. But suddenly there comes a stop – a sudden break half way – and the train takes a big U turn and gets back to where it started. All of a sudden I realize “Man I’m back to square one”, from where I started.

Then reality strikes, after so many days of journey, I realize that I’ve been traveling in the wrong train, all along. What clogged me from not thinking about taking this journey in the very beginning? Yeah, I was covered up with a mass of algae, which blinded my very own eyes and not let me distinguish between the right and the wrong.

People make mistakes, few realize, few don’t and a few take long time. But its goanna be fine unless you realize it some day.

I would like to take a common example or a widespread mistake which most of us do, “Profession” – Choosing your profession, choose what you want to do through out your life. There are only two options, “Either you want to chase your dreams or follow the herd”.
There are too many factors that forces people to follow the flock,
It could be Fear of Criticism by others or
Financial Conditions (fear of not earning enough bucks) or
Being compelled by parents and others to choose a popular trail or
Doubting our own capabilities to step in to the new venture or
Fear of being successful in the new venture
And the list goes on…
So what do we do? Do the same old mundane and crappy job that we never ever wanted to do or chase our dreams and do what we like to do.
Well if you think that you can do it and have enough guts and adequate confidence then go ahead… chase your dreams…

This article does not pertain only to the example stated…There too many things hidden in this...There is very famous Italian proverb “La vita non รจ tutta rosa”, Means… “Life is not bed of roses”. I strongly agree my friend ‘Life screws you up’, when ever you give it an opportunity. Now it’s up to you to give it an opportunity or hold it on in your hands…!!!

Good Luck Ppl...!!!

I need Serenity

As I sit here and slowly close my eyes
I take another deep breath
And feel the wind pass through my body
I'm the one in your soul
Reflecting inner light
Protect the ones who hold you
Cradling your inner child

I need serenity
In a place where I can hide
I need serenity
Nothing changes, days go by

Where do we go when we just don't know
And how do we relight the flame when it's cold
Why do we dream when I thought mean nothing
And when will we learn to control

Tragic visions slowly stole my life
Tore away everything
Cheating me out of my time
I'm the one who loves you
No matter wrong or right
And every day I hold you
I hold you with my inner child

I need serenity
In a place where I can hide
I need serenity
Nothing changes, days go by

Where do we go when we just don't know
And how do we relight the flame when it's cold
Why do we dream when I thought mean nothing
And when will we learn to control

I need serenity

Chennai is beautiful:

Chennai is more stunning than what it is actually.
For its long beaches, the suburban trains, wide roads, over crowded t.nagar, the bessi, the central station, the Spencer plaza the amazing ECR, the kollywood, rajini, kamal n what not, you name it we have it.

But why do people go boo, when they hear the name “Chennai”
No.1. Heat, oh yeah we agree, Chennai is “Super Hot”
No.2. is it for its cleanliness?
No.3. the kind of people?
No.4. or is there any thing else?

There is this small incident I want to share, I was on my way to my office at around 8 in the morning and I was crossing the Thousand lights subway, I see a old govt. employee cleaning up every single tile in the side walls and I take a few steps further down I see another old lady spit in the very same wall. I immediately burst out asking if she didn’t see the other lady cleaning up. She almost started to brawl, asking why I was bothered and if it was my house she spat in. I simply walked back with an outrage.

But what really is happening here. When will people realize what they are doing to this city? Can we really change the attitudes of people who don’t realize they ought to be keeping there own city clean.

Let’s imagine a Chennai with uncontaminated water flowing in the Koovam River, with more dirt free beaches, hygienic railway stations, etc., I’m sure Chennai will be the most talked about state in the country.

Now who has to take a call, the people who are not bothered about cleanliness or the state municipality corporation or who? It’s still an unanswered question…!

For The kind of culture Chennai has followed, for the number of intelligent brains Chennai has got and for the nature’s gorgeousness, Chennai deserves to be spoken about.
